Test-trenching was carried out as part of the planning schedule for an apartment and housing development adjacent to St Colman's Cathedral and its high cross (SMR 12:10). A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the apartments, townhouses and ancillary works. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
