Further to a request from Tipperary County Council, three test-trenches were excavated to the rear of the Credit Union, Church Street, Cahir. The site is located within the medieval town, SMR 75:48. No archaeological stratigraphy or finds were uncovered during monitoring of excavation of the foundation trenches.
