Monitoring of ground disturbance associated with the construction of apartment buildings, townhouses and retail units at this site was undertaken, as the site lay within the zone of archaeological potential for the medieval town of Cahir. The site extended from the western side of Abbey Street to the eastern side of Little Abbey Street. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered.
