Pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a small residential development of houses in Borrisoleigh, as the site lies within the zone of archaeological potential for the village. Four trenches were excavated along the footprint of the proposed development. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
