Testing took place at Borrisokane, North Tipperary, on 31 May and 1 June. The development plan includes '8 no. two storey semi-detached dwellings, 24 no. two storey terraced dwellings, 14 no. three storey terraced dwellings, entrance roadway from Finnoe Road and associated site works on site to the rear of Fire Station and Library, Fair Green/Finnoe Road, Borrisokane, Nenagh'. The proposed development lies within the zone of archaeological potential for Shesheraghmore (Borrisokane), SMR 10:6. Ten test-trenches were excavated at 10-15m intervals along the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded during the testing.
