Monitoring was undertaken in Ballyporeen as part of the wastewater treatment grouped operations for South Tipperary. Part of the groundworks entailed a river crossing on the river Duag. Excavations into the riverbed for this crossing were monitored. In addition, topsoil-stripping for a treatment plant was also monitored. No archaeological remains were uncovered.
