As a recommendation of an environmental impact assessment, the nature and extent of three potential archaeological features within a proposed IDA business park was tested. Two trenches were opened at the foot of two potential standing stones and six trenches were excavated across the circumference of a possible enclosure at the northern edge of a pond. No definite archaeological features or sediments were recorded within these cuttings, nor were any archaeological artefacts retrieved.
