Testing works were carried out as part of granted planning permission to construct a dwelling house and garage at Cloverhill, Co. Sligo. A bowl barrow is located on the opposite side of the road to the development site.

Six trenches of varying length were opened on the site, which is located on a drumlin. Although it is near a bowl barrow, no evidence of archaeological activity was discovered on the house site.
