Testing was undertaken pursuant to granted planning permission to construct a dwelling house and carry out associated site works in the townland of Killaraght. The site is close to an archaeological complex comprising a church and graveyard.
Seven trenches were opened on the site, none of which revealed any features of archaeological provenance.
