The proposed development at Bunnacranagh, Curry, involves the construction of a house, access and septic tank/percolation area. The site is near aringfort that has been partially truncated by the adjacent road. A 15m buffer zone between the edge of the proposed development and the ringfort has been established. Test excavation was carried out by machine in August 2004. Five trenches were excavated to a depth of 0.35-0.45m, well below the level of natural subsoil. No archaeological features were identified.
