This application was for the demolition of a cottage and the erection of six houses, an access road and associated works at Ardcumber, Riverstown, Co. Sligo. Monitoring took place in August 2004 of the entire area for the development. There was much evidence from discarded metal of a 'car repair' effort here at some time in the past. There were also several bits of the frame of a metal bed. Mixed with the modern metal was evidence of a 'dog keeping' activity, several bits of animal bone, some buried in modern wrapping.

In the north-west corner of the site a line of small stones of no more than three courses, and that only inplaces, up to 0.2m across at most but generally only 0.1m across, were exposed. The present layout of seven plots along this side of the road had been imposed where there were two large fields, and this was the boundary between them. Intermittent indications of this boundary wall were found further east; there was nothing in it to date it. There were no archaeological finds.
