Testing was carried out pursuant to granted planning permission to construct a silage slab, shed and other associated site works. The farm building works are close to an earthwork which is called Court Moyle on the OS maps. Three test-trenches were opened on the imprint of the proposed groundworks, none of which revealed any features of archaeological provenance.
