The site of the proposed development of a house, access and septic tank percolation area is located outside Four-Mile-House on the Tulsk road. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential of 'roads'. It is also near two substantial ringforts, SMR 35:14, that appear to be connected to the 'roads'. The roads are defined by parallel earthen banks, one of which comes very close to the proposed development site. The site was tested through the excavation of four trenches by machine in October 2004. The trenches revealed no evidence of archaeological activity.
