Testing was undertaken in advance of erecting an ESB pylon at Corbally Middle, Co. Roscommon. The pylon site lay some 75m south of an enclosure in an undulating field. The pylon forms part of the the Flagford-Srananagh 220/110kV project, which entails the erection of a total of 76 masts within County Roscommon between the Flagford substation and the townland of Drumshannagh, to the south of Boyle. Testing showed the area of the pylon to be sterile.
