The site of the proposed development at Cams, Cloverhill, to consist of a single dwelling house, access, garage and septic tank/percolation area, is located just outside Roscommon town. The site is near an 'Ancient Road', located to the north. Five trenches were excavated across the site in October 2004. There was no evidence of archaeological activity on the site.
