Monitoring took place of ground reduction works at a housing development in Kentstown townland at Kentstown village, Navan, Co. Meath, from 26 May to 2 June 2004. The development consisted of the topsoil clearance of a 4.5-acre site, the digging of foundation and service trenches and the construction of roads within the estate. A series of modern gravel-filled land drains orientated north-east/south-west across the site were the only features cut into the subsoil. No archaeological remains or artefacts were revealed.
