Test-trenching was undertaken in advance of the construction of a private housing development. Only a small portion of the site has been tested, the southern extent had previously been topsoil-stripped without archaeological supervision; no features of archaeological significance were noted within the stripped areas.

Further testing will be conducted in the remaining unstripped areas when they become available.
