An assessment of a proposed private dwelling development was requested for a site in Calgath townland, Kilcock, Co. Meath. The site was within the area of a field system (SMR 49:18). Three test-trenches excavated through the site did not encounter any archaeological material. The raised field systems were noted within the site. Two ditches defined a raised area within the development area, but both ditches were very shallow and one produced modern agricultural metallic waste.
