This site is marked as 'Creevagh Graveyard (Dis.)' on the 25-inch OS map. It measures 52m east-west by 30m but its limits are not well defined. As the area adjacent to it is being developed as an industrial park, testing was required. A 10m buffer zone was retained around the burial ground. The area around it was tested by opening sixteen trial-trenches radiating out from the site at regular intervals. These measured 20m by 2m and were excavated to undisturbed subsoil.

No archaeological remains associated with the burial ground were identified. However, burnt material from one or possibly two fulachta fiadh was uncovered at the outer extremities of two of the trenches. This material was preserved in situ. In addition, some modern finds and relatively recent stone-lined drains, some still operational, were identified.
