An isolated cremation burial was found on slightly higher ground in the generally flat landscape of the river Shannon flood-plain. The pit was circular in plan, measured 0.34m in diameter and was 0.06mdeep. Cremated bone (probably human), a struck chert flake and a large piece of quartz crystal were recovered from the burial. The site has been fully resolved.
