Pre-development testing and assessment of a site for the third and final phase of a housing estate development at Grenan, Thomastown, was requested. An axial trench was plotted to traverse the site from its south-west to its north-east corner. At 20m intervals (centre-line to centre-line), offsets were dug at right angles to the main trench, on either side of it alternately. There were three features identified during the testing that will require further investigation before the construction phase of the development commences.
