An archaeological impact assessment of a proposed single-house development at Clomantagh, Co. Kilkenny, was requested. The proposed development area was situated within a landscape rich in archaeological sites. The closest site was a holy well (SMR 13:6) 100m from the proposed development area. Four test-trenches were excavated across the development area. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
