Monitoring was required as part of the planning schedule for a development adjacent to a burial ground (SMR 31:27). A 60m buffer zone was fenced off to protect any possible associated subsurface features. Topsoil-stripping, excavation of road networks and all ancillary works were monitored. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
