An assessment of a proposed house development was requested. The desktop study indicated that the proposed development area was situated within a walled garden of early 18th-century date adjacent to a castle site, a gatehouse site and a tumulus site. Testing was carried out along the proposed footprint of the development. Nothing of archaeological potential was noted.
