Testing took place on 1 September 2004 in the garden area at No. 155 Church Road, Celbridge, Co. Kildare, which measured c. 23m (north-south) by c. 11m. The proposed development comprises the construction of a single detached house. Testing comprised the excavation of three cuttings using a three-ton mini-digger fitted with a 1.2m-wide flat-edged ditching bucket. No features or finds of archaeological significance were noted.
