Monitoring undertaken on 12 April in advance of the construction of a house and associated works within a greenfield site at Ardscull, Moone. The site encompassed 2500m2. The site was mechanically excavated with a flat-edged bucket to a depth consistent with the surface of the underlying natural subsoil—0.3m in depth. No archaeological structures or materials were encountered within the bounds of the site.
