Testing was undertaken at the site of a pre-school development situated at Ardreigh, Athy, Co. Kildare. The western portion of the site is located within the zone of archaeological potential of the former medieval borough of Ardree. Three trenches were excavated by machine and nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
