Unlicensed monitoring of topsoil removal was carried out relating to the construction of 64 houses and a community creche at Ratass, Tralee, Co. Kerry. The topsoil was stripped from the area of the entire site. Two potential areas of archaeology were noted. However, subsequent excavation under licence proved negative. No archaeological stratigraphy or finds were recorded during monitoring or excavation.
