Nothing of archaeological significance was noted in any of the five trenches opened during testing of a site prior to applying for planning permission to construct a house at Milltown, on the outskirts of Dingle. The proposed development site is a minimum of 25m from a complex of monuments that include a standing stone, a pair of standing stones and a prostrate stone inscribed with rock art.
