Monitoring took place at a business premises off Main Street, Dingle, of the digging of foundations necessary for a proposed shared deliveries compound and for a small extension to the supermarket. The site lies just inside the line of the medieval town wall. All areas examined showed evidence of having been very disturbed during previous developments at the site and several service pipes were also present. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted in any of the areas opened.
