Monitoring was carried out on the excavations associated with the construction of 46 houses at Moanmore. The development area is located within the vicinity of the zone of archaeological potential for St Stephen's Church and graveyard. The development encompasses an area c. 180m west-east by 120m. Evidence of tree roots and extensive modern drainage systems were present in the subsoil. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the monitoring.
