One test-trench was excavated prior to an application concerning the construction of a milking complex and wintering unit, complete with slurry tanks, at a farm at Ardamore, Lispole, Co. Kerry. The development is near a very disturbed rath site and is also near the findspot of the Ardamore cross slab. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted in the trench.
