Pre-development testing was undertaken in compliance with a request for further information at Drumharsna North, Kinvara, near a ringfort site and children's burial ground. Four trenches were mechanically excavated. In Trench A sod and topsoil 0.2m deep overlay a grey sandy gravel. Approximately 5.1m from the west end of the trench a dump of field stones was uncovered. This material extended for a length of 7.5m and had a maximum depth of 0.7m. The stone was local limestone, which had been dumped into a roughly round-bottomed cut that was excavated into the natural gravel layer. A second cut filled with field stones was uncovered to the east of the first cut. This cut was 1.9m in width and 0.5m deep. In Trenches B-D natural sand and gravel layers lay directly below the topsoil. No features of archaeological significance were encountered in the course of testing.
