It was proposed to extend an existing café premises. The assessment did not reveal evidence for any archaeological deposits. Extensive service pipe insertion over previous decades had particularly impacted on the site area. A mosaic entry step with the inscribed name of 'J.C. Meyers & Sons Ltd.' was revealed underneath modern flooring. This will be retained and incorporated into the redevelopment.
