Testing was carried out at Thulla, Dunbo Hill, Howth, using a medium-sized digger, on 1 October 2004, prior to the construction of three houses. The site is in the area of archaeological potential of SMR 15:28. Six trenches were dug. Animal bone, modern china and modern domestic refuse were recovered from all of the trenches. No features of archaeological significance were identified.
