Monitoring of groundworks, which consisted of the digging of a single trench 2m in length by 0.8m in depth by 0.5m in width, was carried out on 22 April 2004. The fill of the trench contained modern rubbish and had modern services at the base; no artefacts or sites of archaeological significance were identified.
