An assessment was carried out in January 2004 in relation to the redevelopment of the Gaiety Centre, on the corner of King Street South and Clarendon Row. Four trenches were mechanically excavated across the site. Due to previous development at the site, the original ground had been removed and therefore no features of archaeological significance were identified.
