Monitoring of construction-related groundworks was undertaken immediately to the south of Beaverstown House in early 2004. Ground levels throughout the majority of the development site had been raised in the past and, as the construction of housing on the site utilised a series of raft foundations, natural soil levels were not encountered across much of the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered on the site.
