A test excavation was carried out as part of an overall assessment prior to the construction of an extension to St Mary's Church, Clonsilla. A single trench was excavated. The excavation uncovered the remains of a coffin from the 1960s and disarticulated skeletal remains from the late 19th century.
Editor's note: Although this excavation work took place in 2002, the report was not received in time for inclusion in the bulletin of that year.
