Testing was undertaken on a proposed development at Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4. The site contains a chimney stack which is a protected structure connected with the former Spring Grove Services site. Six trenches were excavated across the site using a mechanical excavator. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified.
