A single-feature site was discovered during topsoil-stripping close to the eastern boundary of a new town development at Grange, Baldoyle (No. 446 above, 03E1535). It presented as a 0.5m by 0.41m subcircular feature containing charcoal-rich pale-grey silty clay fill but was interpreted as a tree bole due to the presence of root action towards the base of the feature. The site was deemed not to be of archaeological significance.
