Testing was carried out at Navenny, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, on 25 and 26 November 2004. The proposed development entails the construction of 191 units and associated services. Seventeen trenches were excavated through the site. A number of linear field drains, deemed to be of no archaeological significance, were recorded. No archaeological features or finds were noted throughout the development area.
