Testing works were carried out as part of planning permission granted for the construction of a house. The site is located on the edge of Lifford town. Five trenches were opened on the site. Evidence from testing indicated a great deal of disturbance within the relatively recent past. All trenches revealed modern disturbance and dumping. This material overlaid the natural depositions, with no subsoils being identified. No archaeological discoveries were made.
