The proposed development at Cark will involve the construction of twelve wind turbines, a substation and an extensive network of roads. The site is located on a blanket-bog-covered hill north of Ballybofey. There are no known monuments within 1km of the proposed wind farm. Eleven 100m-long trenches and three 40m-long trenches, all 1m wide, were excavated across the site. No evidence of archaeological activity was found.
