An architectural and underwater archaeological assessment was carried out at Mill Brae Bridge, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, on 22 November, on behalf of Donegal County Council. The proposed development entails the widening of Mill Brae Bridge, with the construction of a new three-span reinforced concrete arch extension to the downstream end of the existing structure. There were no archaeological remains noted in the direct development area or its vicinity.
