An isolated, subrectangular pit measuring 0.95m east-west by 0.4m by 0.04m deep was the only feature uncovered in this field during work on the North-West Pipeline. It was filled with a compact, black, clayey soil rich in charcoal and a lens of compact, burnt-orange clay on its south edge. It is considered that this was not an archaeological feature and may be the result of modern agricultural activity. No finds were recovered from the fill.
