Pre-development testing was undertaken of a site at Youghal-Lands, Youghal, Co. Cork. The development consisted of the construction of 56 houses on a greenfield site. Twelve trenches measuring between 20–60m in length were excavated within the development area. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered and undisturbed boulder clay/bedrock was exposed throughout the site.
