Testing was undertaken of a site at Townlands, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork. The site is located adjacent to a star-shaped fort (SMR 143:98) and is within the walled town of Rosscarbery (SMR 143:99). Four trenches were excavated within the limits of the development area but did not reveal any archaeological features or deposits.
