Monitoring was carried out during the excavation of c. 6km of sewerage pipe trenches as part of the Crosshaven Sewerage Scheme. The project took place along the south bank of the Owenaboy River in various townlands. Two wastewater-pumping stations were excavated in Crosshaven village. No artefacts or features of archaeological interest were found.
