The proposed development is to consist of a single house, access, garage and septic tank percolation area. The site is near a ringfort, located to the north. Test excavation took place in April 2004. Five trenches measuring 10m by 1.5m were excavated across the site, to a depth of 0.5-0.6m. There was no evidence of any archaeological features or finds.
